You Don’t Storm the Bastille with your Mouth Full
Change is afoot.
My Mother was fond of saying that Russia was not involved in the first World War; “They went home and had a revolution instead.” Hungry people demand change. And if they are hungry enough, they stop cooperating. Or asking. They storm the Bastille.
Generally, when we feel we are well paid our work, we don’t ask for a raise. If we are satisfied with the status quo, we don’t vote for change. But, if we are hungry, or dissatisfied, and the tipping point is reached, well then, all bets are off, and change is brought about.
Hence, my saying, “You don’t storm the Bastille with your mouth full.”
Contentment is for Cows, Chapter Seven, Scene Five has been posted… in which a hungry man manipulates a situation…
We have Facebook, or Twitter, but the best way to follow the story is to sign up for the blog via your email. The blog posts the same time as new scenes are posted on the comics page.
