Youth is Short

There is a saying about life being short, and it may be true. I prefer to say life is long — youth is short.

In the span of an average life of seventy plus years, how many of those years do you consider to be ‘young’? Has the definition of young changed for you?

For most of us, I think the definition of what is ‘old’ changes as you get older. If you are of a certain age, you may remember when you thought thirty was ancient. You don’t realize how young thirty really is until you are a celebrating a birthday a couple of decades later.

Yes, youth may be short and life may be short or long — it is all relative. The magic is in enjoying the life, not the numbers.
