The creator of ‘Peanuts’, Charles M. Schulz is accredited with having said “Draw what you like and hope others like it too”. That saying has been my mantra throughout this comics project. Whenever I have found myself doubting my choices for scenes or dialogue, I just revert to whether or not I ‘like’ it.

On the surface, Schulz’s advice seems pretty straightforward and simple. What he is really saying is trust yourself. For comics, it is trust your drawing, trust your instincts, trust your sense of story. In life, it is pretty much the same… trust your instincts, trust your choices, trust that voice in your head.
